Boots have a lot to endure in Berlin: freezing nights, rainy days, the long distances of a big city, and the critical glances of a fashion-savvy crowd on the street.
To rise to that challenge, we had to measure ourselves against the very best in aesthetics, materials, and craftsmanship. Our construction methods and materials are typically reserved for the luxury segment: the upper leather from the Weinheimer Leder tannery, for example, is used by Crockett & Jones for their finest shoes; our boots are Goodyear-welted, the gold standard of shoemaking; and they are handmade in Montegranaro, the Italian shoemaking town par excellence.
